NSW Foundation Cursive Style handwriting posters include precursive and cursive script when modelling letter formations. These posters have been created in a sequence and move from precursive, to cursive and then to speed cursive (ensuring that students are fluent in NSW Foundation Style cursive before beginning a cursive looped style). These posters are a guide only and do not provide a complete overview of all possible learning.

Note there is 1 x Advanced Speed Cursive example (also included with the label 'NSW Cursive'), as advanced handwriting styles can be viewed as an art form. Provide students with opportunity to experiment with their own handwriting style once correct formation (from the lower grades) has been mastered.
