The cutest flowers!!

I created the Fibonacci flowers with year 1 and year 2 students. They turned out really well. The only thing is that we didn’t worry about cutting out the smallest diameter circles for the students to trace because they were just too small for year 1 and 2 students. If I were to complete this activity again with the same age group, I would just preload a bunch of coloured paper into the printer rather than going through the whole cutting, tracing, cutting process! I’d love to see what a year 4, 5 or 6 student could produce. It’s the perfect activity for day one of the new school year!
