Precise Time - forty-five minutes past the hour

Precise time language includes stating the hour first, and then the minutes eg 4:45 is read as four forty-five pm or am.

Teach students to read an analog clock and match the time to the precise time e.g. four fifteen. 

Recommended: should you download more than one ‘time’ resource, print onto different coloured paper (for the purpose of differentiation and storage).
