This activity is designed to help students understand that we are all very different, yet everyone belongs. Once you have completed the below activity, display the doll cut outs in a single line around your classroom. You may wish to use the lettering display as well.

Give each student an A4 or A3 printed person (1 per student - students can work in groups of 3, or students can work independently and colour in 1-3 people each). Students create a visual representation of themselves - encourage creativity!

  • section the cut out doll (rule lines to create sections) and include things that make you different
  • try to resemble yourself exactly e.g. skin colour, hair colour, eye colour, favourite clothes
