This learning sequence explores multisyllabic words through 4 lesson sequences. The programmed lessons, slide decks and activities support the teacher and students to successfully identify, syllabify and segment unfamiliar words. Lesson sequence 4 provides an extension opportunity for students to either develop word sums, or complete an investigation.

Differentiation has been included to support students, as well as extend students through each learning sequence.
